Award Winning Designer Joins The Team

It's fair to say that it's been a successful whirlwind of a year for Flawless Jewellery, beginning with a meeting with Her Majesty The Queen and ending with opening a second shop in Westerham, including a few award nominations thrown in in-between.

We thought that this wasn't enough! So after months of discussing and searching we decided to take on a Diamond Mounting Intern to study under Rob and to learn how to make jewellery to Flawless's standard (which is very high if we say so ourselves :-) ).

It was around this time that the award winning Mr Sam Towens intorduced himself as a keen, newly qualified diamond mounter wanting to better his learning and skills in jewellery making.

We snapped him up and he is now a fully fledged member of the Flawless team, working hard at our Westerham Boutique under the guidance of Rob.

After hearing of this one of the UK's leading jewellery magazines, Professional Jeweller, contacted us for an article on our newest member.

News Shopper

The lovely team at the News Shopper got in touch as news of our meeting with

The Queen, award nominations and new boutique had reached their ears. 

They came along to our Chislehurst branch to take some photos of

Rob and Shannon in action, to run alongside the article.

Jewellery Focus Magazine

We were contacted by the Jewellery Focus Magazine, a nation-wide trade publication,

to be their 'Voice on the High Street' for the month of March. 

The article asks for our opinions on trading conditions and gives an insight 

into the dilemmas faced by today's jewellers. 

Professional Jeweller Magazine

Professional Jeweller Magazine wanted to know what 

Flawless were going to be on the look-out for at

this years Jewellery Show trade fair, so featured us

in their Speakers Corner section.

The Bromley Times

We were contacted by Bromley Times who wanted to run an editorial piece on us,

to feature in both their print newspaper and online.

They had heard about us meeting The Queen, our nomination for the BJA Retailer of the Year award and our new boutique in Westerham.

Kaylie, our manager, was more than happy to oblige and even posed for some arty shots in our Chislehurst Boutique!

Shortlisted for another award!!

We were so excited to have been shortlisted for another award-

BJA Retailer of the Year.

It is such an achievement to be recognised as an outstanding Jewellery Retailer by our governing body, and a hugely proud moment for us.

We eventually came second in the race to win and had a fantastic time at the Benevolent Ball, thanks to the BJA who hosted the event.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, putting us second place above thousands of other retailers across the UK. We are thrilled to have gone so far!!

County Border News



After much anticipation and excitement, we have finally opened our doors and have already started to recieve a lot of attention... 

We were papped by the local news paper, Westerham County Border News, after their hearing of our arrival, and we're sure they were all fighting over who would get the sought after (cough), exclusive article! The story has now gone to print and is winging its way to the lovely townsfolk of Kent, who we suspect are eager to hear more about their sparkly new neighbours!!

Our very FIRST editorial press release in a county newspaper, a proud moment!

Flawless meets the actual Queen...

We recently took part in an exhibition for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in Bromley.

We were invited to showcase our jewellery to Her Majesty and The Duke of Edinburgh

at this prestigious event.

We made 6 key pieces of jewellery - one to mark each of the 6 decades of

her reign and each represents a country she visited in those decades.

Robert was presented to Her Majesty at the exhibition where she shook

his hand and asked him about our jewellery and his skills as a Diamond Mounter.

It was an extremely proud moment both in Robert's professional and

personal life and one we will always remember.

We were absolutely delighted to have taken part and the pieces presented to

Queen Elizabeth II at the event are now available to buy from our Chislehurst and Westerham boutiques.
